WIC food packages may include:
- Fruits and Vegetables: Choose from fresh, frozen, or canned options.
- Juice: 100% fruit and vegetable juice.
- Whole Grains: Choices include 100% whole-grain and whole wheat bread, whole wheat tortillas, soft corn tortillas, 100% whole wheat pasta, brown rice, oats, quinoa, and bulgur.
- Cereal: Both hot and cold cereal options.
- Dairy: Milk, cheese, and yogurt.
- Plant-Based Alternatives: Plant-based options like tofu and soy milk.
- Protein Foods: Eggs, canned or dried beans, canned fish, and peanut butter (or alternative nut and seed butters).
