Is WIC still serving clients? Yes. The Colorado WIC Program is serving clients. Due to COVID-19 many clinics are closed to the public, however many services are being provided by phone. Call your clinic to find out more.
What should you do if you have a WIC appointment? Call your clinic and ask what options you have. You may be able to:
- Do your appointment over the phone.
- Do an online nutrition education lesson on www.wichealth.org.
- Extend your certification also known as your enrollment period by 1 month if you were scheduled for a recertification (reapplying for benefits).
- Reschedule for a time that works better for you.
